UAW's Image, In Midst of Auto Talks, Gets a Body Blow From the FBI
The United Auto Workers union has received a body blow to its image, thanks to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Bureau agents last week raided the homes of current union president Gary Jones and his immediate predecessor, Dennis Williams. The raids stemmed from a long federal investigation into the Detroit-based union. The raids also came as the UAW is negotiating new labor contracts with General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co. and FCA US LLC. Current contracts at the automaker expire on Sept. 14. For many years, the UAW was viewed as one of the cleanest U.S. unions. That's not the case lately.
Machine Roof Bellows Contain Dust
Machine Roof Bellows Contain Dust
Dynatect’s retractable machine roof bellows contains machining dust, debris and noise. The self-supporting bellows cover uses low-friction bearings to easily glide on a rail system, adaptable for any machine way or rail. The translucent bellows still allows light to pass through. Roof covers are commonly used in large machining centers to prevent environmental contamination, such as in the milling of aerospace components.

"A quality assurance manager, or the internal integrator, can take the autonomous machine vision system out of the box, install it on their line without any integrator and without any knowledge of artificial intelligence or machine vision."
