Judge Dismisses GM's Racketeering Lawsuit Against FCA US
A U.S. district judge dismissed a racketeering lawsuit filed by General Motors Co. against FCA US, the Detroit Free Press said. GM originally filed the lawsuit late last year, alleging that FCA had cost GM "billions of dollars by corrupting" the bargaining process with the United Auto Workers union. The judge earlier had urged the chiefs of GM and FCA US meet to hash out a settlement. GM said it disagreed strongly with the ruling.
